Flair gave me a home throughout my time at university and helped me to find my feet in a new city due to its fantastic team. Sarah Graham

Sarah is joint Owner and Director of Flair – Sarah started her very successful career in Retail many moons ago and has worked for the Estee Lauder group of Companies and also House of Fraser at Store Management level. When Sarah isn’t busy managing Flair and organising her children’s multiple sporting commitments, you will find her rearranging and adding to her rather extensive dressing room… a sneaky peak in the designer fashion section is simply too much of a temptation on client store visits!

DO NOT USE – Ashley Ansah

Ashley was born and raised in Marseille. She is our language guru speaking 3 – French, English and Twi and currently also learning German. (Twi is a local language from Ghana just in case you didn’t know.)

Ashley loves to travel, so far she has been too Miami, Amsterdam, Paris, Hamburg and Maldives to name but a few, her top tip is to take loads of photos, but whilst travelling is her passion, the thought of boarding a plane scares her to death.

When she is not supporting the London team here at Flair she is studying for a degree in business. Having come from a beauty management background we are pleased she has settled with Flair.

Outside of work Ashley loves to try different restaurants especially Japanese. She also adores kids and likes to spend a lot of time with her niece Emerald and nephew Golden. Finally Ashley’s wish would be to spend her days on the beach if she could… we won’t tell her just yet that there are no beaches in Finchley.

DO NOT USE – Eva Warchol

Eva is a very important part of Flair as she is in charge of the money! Eva works with her team to make sure the hundreds of Beauty Consultants working out in stores on a weekly basis submit their timesheets and get paid on time every Friday – no mean feat! With many years experience in accountancy, all those Beauty Consultants couldn’t be in better hands…

When not counting the pennies, Eva loves to go skiing with her family back in Poland and also really enjoys practicing yoga at home and in weekly classes. Another member of the team with a furry friend, Eva has a 3 year old miniature Schnauzer – Basil who makes sure she never sits still!

Sarah Graham

Sarah is joint Head Honcho with Chris. The dream team started Flair in 2012 having worked together for many years in beauty recruitment.

Sarah started her very successful career in Retail following studying at St Martins in London. She then went on to work for the Estee Lauder group of Companies and also House of Fraser at Store Management level.

Sarah left retail to bring up her twin boys Jack and Charlie now 14 and then decided to edge back in to the world of work and joined a Beauty Recruitment Company.

When Sarah isn’t busy managing Flair and organising the multiple sporting commitments of her children, she is rearranging her rather extensive dressing room…. visiting clients and candidates in all the major shopping centres in the UK has its temptations!

Christina Mentzis

Christina is Co Founder and Director of Flair with over 25 years experience within the beauty retail industry. In this fast paced environment , Christina alongside her work wife Sarah are both very hands on in the day to day running of their business and always love a challenge! In a previous life before marriage , family , kids and carnage… she trained in dance and musical theatre so is still partial to the odd pirouette when the mood takes her!

DO NOT USE – Sharon Gold

Sharon is the ‘Flair Mother’. Not only does she keep the busy team organised and happy but she also does the same at home for her 2 sons and numerous cats!

Sharon has been with Flair for many years and her knowledge of the beauty industry stems from her 26 year’s experience working as Manager of the Lauder Bureau.

When she’s not playing the role of Mother Hen, Sharon loves musical theatre and ‘Real Housewives’ of everywhere! Sharon claims she’s always on a diet – a Rose diet that is….!

DO NOT USE – Chante Edwards

Chante is a very experienced member of the Flair team having held various roles in the Head Office. We are delighted she is now the Account Manager for the Midlands & South West. Previously Chante moved to London having completed her Masters degree in Journalism and began working part-time (during studies) in beauty retail for the House of Fraser, which gave her the bug for the industry.

Having been on both sides of the fence, Chante is able to offer our current Consultants invaluable advice about working for Flair and has made a very positive impact in the London area already.

When she’s not talking all things ‘Beauty & Fragrance’, Chante loves travelling and vlogging about her adventures. Her passion for shopping certainly means she’s on top of trends and new launches. Chante not only brings experience to the Flair family but is also an incredibly happy and smiley person – just who we need on a Monday morning!

Kristina Elcock

Kristina joins Flair as our Administration Manager with 15 years of experience under her belt she certainly keeps our admin under control and she loves every minute of it.

When she is not working she loves spending time with her hubby and 2 delightful children however if she could she would be singing and dancing on the stage as her real passion is to entertain is all.

Caroline Darbon

Caroline joined Flair in October 2021 as an administrator and now works primarily helping the team with accounts and payroll. A long, long time ago Caroline worked for many years as a Project Manager specialising in corporate governance within NHS organisations- she then took a few years out of work to look after her two children. She LOVES being back at work with the Flair team!

Sharon Sullivan

Sharon is Retail Director for Flair and is in her fourth year with the company.

Sharon has worked on all sides of the retail industry for the past 27 years, starting in-store for family run department store Beales, and then as Brand Manager for Topshop in Oxford Circus.

Moving to Recruitment and then on to area management with Coty and the Estee Lauder companies, Sharon certainly knows the in’s and outs of the industry! Outside of work, Sharon is kept busy running around after her 3 year old twin boys and husband!

DO NOT USE – Sonia Denney

Sonia has been with Flair for 4 years. Having started as an Account Manager, Sonia has since moved to the role of Payroll Administrator and helps Eva with the mammoth task of making sure all of our Beauty Consultants are paid each week.

Sonia loves cooking and her creations keep everyone’s mouths watering at the delicious smells every lunchtime in the office!

When she’s not in the kitchen, Sonia loves nothing more than heading out for dinner and dancing with her friends. Being the sensible girl she is though, Sonia swims to counter the effects of all that food!

Craig Godsman

Craig has a wealth of experience in the luxury recruitment and training industry. In his previous role he was in charge of running assessment centres at Harrods for Recruitment Partners & Co, as well as training agency staff in exceptional customer service and fine fragrance.

Craig has been fortunate enough to represent some of the worlds most luxurious brands including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior and Hermes in store and has managed staff at prestigious fashion events across London.

Craig moved from Scotland to London at the age of 18 and studied Musical Theatre at the Performers College. He has performed as a singer and actor across the UK, Europe and America. His previous career in the arts has prepared him well for public speaking and allowed him to immerse himself into well known brands and projects with a creative and innovative mindset.

DO NOT USE – Dawn Paterson

Dawn has joined the Flair Head Office team and brings with her very valuable experience having worked as a Consultant for us in Selfridges. We love having a new member of the team who enjoys working for Flair so much they want to become a permanent member of the Flair family.

Having worked on ‘both sides of the fence’, Dawn has a natural affinity with our Consultants and her knowledge and experience means she is always able to help new Consultants settle in to working for us.

Dawn originally studied to become a teacher in Aberdeen and since then has lived and worked in Dubai teaching at a British Prep School. Remarkably she missed the English rain and moved back to the UK this year (she must be slightly mad!).

One thing we can guarantee is that we’ll always know who is in on time because Dawn will be taking the register every morning!

DO NOT USE – Simona Leonescu

Simona hails from Romania and came to the UK nearly 3 years ago having studied mathematics at university. Moving to the UK has been a bit of a whirlwind for Simona, she has met and become engaged to her fiancé, Paul and is getting married back in Romania later this year. The irony is that although they met via Facebook in the UK, it turns out they lived only a few roads away from each other back home!

Simona has total OCD which comes in very handy in her role as Administrator helping Eva and Sonia in the back office and with payroll. Simona also loves cooking traditional dishes – her speciality is Sarmale which is basically stuffed cabbage leaves!

Jillian Coulson

Jillian has worked for Flair for over 8 years and has been in and out of the beauty industry since 1998. She Started her retail career as a promotional consultant in Glasgow working with all luxury brands, Jillian then swapped to the Beauty Recruitment industry a few years later. Her experience on both sides of the fence means Jillian has an excellent understanding of the business and our clients.

Curtis Heasley

All the way from Northern Ireland, Curtis joined Flair’s team as our London City Manager. Previously, Curtis worked for 6 years as a make-up artist with MAC, before taking to the skies as a flight attendant for BA. While he’s glad to have given up serving “chicken or beef”, he does miss the selfie opportunities in exotic places. Curtis enjoys going to the gym, good food and trying to find the best espresso martini in London.

James Eke

James is our northern chap who looks after the North region. With over two decades of fragrance and beauty management, he is a very experienced individual. Having managed Loreal, KGA, Coty Luxury and most recently the debenhams.com beauty store in Manchester, James has also worked for a Natural Australian beauty skincare brand across the Northwest region. When he isn’t busy with Flair (which is extremely rare), James loves his Eurovision song contest. So be warned, any potential Eurovision conversation can turn into a several hour discussion.

DO NOT USE – Kandi Stavrou

Kandi is our Area Account Manager for the Central & South East team.  Coming from a retail background, Kandi has impressive experience of all thing’s customer service, running a business and making sure customers get the best experience ever, and she can now pass that knowledge on and help support all our fabulous Flair Consultants.

Kandi is very used to a fast-paced work and personal life and when she’s not managing our Consultants she’s running around after her 3 and 8 year old kids. Sometimes she’s not sure which is easier! Fortunately, Kandi adores both (apart from the mountain of plastic toys at home) and has one very simple way to chill after a hectic day…. a bar of wholenut chocolate and a good TV Box Set!

Sally Nicholls

Sally is our resident Black Country lass and keeps our Midlands, Central and South East Clients and consultant team happy, busy and working. Having worked for Dior for 10 years, and as Area Manager for Puig, before moving in to beauty recruitment, her passion for beauty and fragrance oozes out of Sally and her cosmetic bag , oh yes, and there’s the Rum thing as well… but that’s not something we speak about in work hours..

DO NOT USE – Rebecka Thornton

Rebecka is one of our cosmetic retail guru’s having worked in the industry for over 18 years.

Rebecka is another one of the gym loving team who put those more lethargic amongst us to shame… she also loves a challenge and has completed her Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award as well as complete for the Leeds Swim Team.

Not content with sporting challenges, Rebecka had a mad moment and decided to add a little more interest in to her life with the addition of Hettie, her one year old Cavachon puppy. Good luck with that Rebecka!

Chloe Gay

Chloe, having lived and grown up in Cardiff and Bristol, knows the area very well hence becoming our area account manager for the South and South West.
Despite a degree in Childhood Studies Chloe “fell in to” beauty retail when she became an AM for KGA and hasn’t left the industry since. When she can, Chloe loves getting out in the fresh air and on the beach. Waterskiing and tennis are her great passions in life – although clearly not at the same time!

You will receive an automated reply to confirm we have received your application.

You will receive communication within 24 hours of your interview.

There is no initial training given, however, many brands will have trainings throughout the year which you will be invited to attend.

We offer all types of luxury retail work, which includes cosmetics, fragrance and skincare.

We work with all major beauty and luxury retail houses within the UK.

Part-time work usually works on a contract basis, where you will work the same shifts every week.

Temping offers you as many shifts as your schedule will allow and you can change your availability from week to week.

So if you become unavailable for any reason all you need to do is to let your Account Manager know and exclude that day from your availability.

Temping will give you the opportunity have a flexible job, especially if you have other commitments. However shifts cannot be cancelled once you have confirmed them.

Yes, temporary work can often lead to being offered a permanent position within the industry.

Commission is mainly applicable during Christmas and major product launches. These will always be confirmed prior to your booking.

You will not be paid unless you submit a signed timesheet, from the store you worked in.

You cannot make any changes to your shift without prior authorisation from you Flair Account Manager or Area Manager.

If you are unwell you will need to call your Account Manager to report your sickness, then speak to the Manager in Store.

You will only be paid for the hours worked, and will still need to get your timesheet signed to enable us to pay you.

As a Temporary Worker you are free to work for as many agencies as you wish, however, consultants who commit to Flair ongoing will be offered first refusal on bookings.

Yes, temporary work can often lead to being offered a permanent position within the industry.

If a client has requested you on a booking, we will offer you the work first.

We are a temporary agency, so can never guarantee work, however we will try and accommodate you for the days you are available but be aware that there is more work available on key retail days.

We do not pay towards travel expenses or parking.

No, if you are unable to cover a booking you have previously committed to you will need to contact your Account Manager who will try and replace you with an alternative consultant.

Shift patterns do vary, they are usually based on a 7.5 hour shift excluding your 1 hour lunch break.

You are entitled to a 1 hour lunch break, all other breaks are at the discretion of the store.

If you relocate, you will not need to re-register, your current Area Manager will introduce you to your new Area Manager.

You will be paid overtime at your hourly rate.

No, you must stay on the brand/counter that you are paid to represent.

If the store have a query they are to contact Flair Head Office.

You will need prior authorisation from your Flair Account Manager, without this, you may not be paid.

This will vary from brand to brand, and will be confirmed prior to training.

On major promotions, you will receive the target prior to the booking.

For targets on general bookings, you will need to speak to your contact on counter when you first arrive.

You will need to contact the weekend number, you will find this in your Welcome Pack.

Shoes must have a heel no less than 1 inch high, they must be closed toe, black with no adornments.

Please refer to the Staff Handbook which will explain what you should wear while working for Flair.

We operate Monday to Friday 9-5.30. We operate a Weekend Emergency service on a Saturday & Sunday.

When you have successfully uploaded your timesheet you will see a green line next to your shift in the ‘my shifts’ area of your CMS account. If there are any problems with your timesheet you will be contacted by Payroll.

Please refer to your payment schedule in your Welcome Pack which confirms the weekly payroll process.

You pay tax & NI contributions if your salary exceeds your annual personal allowance which is reviewed by HMRC annually.

You are taxed if your weekly income exceeds your personalise tax allowance, which changes each year.

Either you have not provided us with a P45, or you chose option C ("I have another job or receive a state or occupational pension") on your P46 form. HMRC will adjust your tax code accordingly once you have received your first payment from Flair.

Yes, your daily rate includes your holiday pay at 12.07%

All employees who are eligible for the scheme are auto-enrolled onto our workplace pension. When you start work you will receive information from our pension provider.

If you do not have a P45/tax code we are able to retrieve this information from HMRC the week after your first week's payment.

As you are a Temporary Worker you will only be paid for the hours you are booked to work through Flair.

Our clients usually require our consultants to work full shifts. Normal working days Monday - Saturday are 8.5 hours including a 1 hour lunch break except Sunday trading laws are  6 hours including a 1/2 hour lunch break.

We do not pay travel expenses or parking.

Commission is paid once the promotion has finished and the client has authorised all sales. Depending on how long the promotion runs you may receive payment up to a month after you have worked.

Your payslip is emailed to you a few days before you are due to be paid. If you have not received an email with your payslip please firstly check your junk mail. If the email is not in your junk mail please contact Flair payroll to ensure we have your correct email address.

Yes you may and it will affect your tax. You are taxed at 20% on your second job. If you speak to the Tax Office your tax allowance can be split between both jobs.

To submit your timesheet you need to log in to the Flair CMS at www.flaircms.co.uk, please refer to your the CMS Training Manual (which contains a user guide that will help you log in and upload your timesheet) in Training & Documents.
